Vibe Player is a local offline music player designed to play audio files stored on your device. The application does not collect personal data, create user accounts, or upload your music files to any server. All media playback and data processing occur locally on the user’s device. The application does not require user registration or account creation.
2. Information Accessed by the App
The app may access the following information strictly for functionality purposes: • Local Audio Files The app scans audio files stored on your device to display your music library and allow playback. • Device Information Basic device information such as Android version and device model may be accessed for compatibility and performance purposes. • App Preferences The app may store local preferences including playlists, moods, favorites, and playback history. These are stored only on your device.
3. Permissions Used
Vibe Player may request the following permissions: • Media / Storage Permission Used to scan and play audio files stored on the user's device. • Notification Permission Used to display music playback controls in the notification panel. • Local Notifications The app may use local notifications to remind inactive users to continue listening, improve engagement, and help resume their last played track. These notifications are generated locally on the device and do not require any personal data to be sent externally. • Foreground Service Required to allow music playback while the app runs in the background. The application does not upload or transmit any music files to external servers. All audio playback occurs locally on the user's device.
4. Data Sharing
Vibe Player does not collect or share personal information with third parties.
5. Third-Party Advertising Services & Analytics
The application uses open-source libraries to provide core functionality and relies on standard platform services (for example, Google Play Services on Android) for app compatibility and basic system operations. Vibe Player uses third-party advertising services, specifically Google AdMob, to serve advertisements within the Application. These third-party services may collect, access, and use non-personally identifiable information from your device to show personalized or non-personalized ads relevant to you. Information Collected by Ad Networks: - Device Identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID / AAID) - IP Address and rough location data - App usage statistics and ad interaction data - Device specifications, OS version, and network carrier Google AdMob Data Usage: Google AdMob uses cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to deliver ads, prevent fraud, and measure ad performance.
